Olympic-Themed Stuff You'll Actually Want to Buy

I can't leave a sports game without a a giant foam finger bigger than most of my closet and a124-ounce souvenir soda cup that would give Mayor Bloomberg hives.

But since I won't actually be going to the Olympics and can't get into the athletic spirit through that sort of paraphanelia, I'll have to find some other alternatives. But run-of-the mill white t-shirts stamped with a blocky "USA" font or classic Olympic rings aren't my thing. They're not cheap, and I won't wear them more than once every four years (if ever).

Instead, I'll pick up a special edition item from one of my favorite brands or designers (Ralph Lauren, Charlotte Olympia, Proenza Schouler, Adidas) who probably feel the same way about Olympics-themed pieces as I do. Whether designed for athletes or for spectators, each of their items in the slideshow hit their marks perfectly.

The ultimate Olympic throwback.
