The Actually Easy Ombre Manicure

Even if you'll never use them on your face, you might want to go out and buy a Costco-sized package of makeup sponges.

Those white foam triangles are the cheapest and easiest shortcut to creating this ombré manicure, which has the coolest matte, stain-like effect. All you need are a few gradients of the same color nail polish, a couple makeup sponges and (perhaps) a teeny, tiny bit of practice.
