Emma Roberts Inspired These Nanette Lepore Sunglasses

Nanette Lepore appreciates an Old Hollywood starlet as much as the next designer, but she's just as inspired by modern day ingenues. Rather than going the Audrey Hepburn or Marilyn Monroe route, Lepore based her upcoming Vogue eyewear collection on Emma Roberts, a luminous, barely-21 indie star. (Also, yes, the niece of another A-list Roberts.)
"I looked to glamorous actresses from the '20s to the present while I was designing and fell in love with Emma," the New York-based designer told WWD. "She’s chic, youthful and confident in her style."
The resulting creation—a pair of cream-colored frames covered in gold filigree—matches the muse's fresh, youthful style. They're not overly expensive, either. Each pair costs only $129.95, which is considerably lower than much less exciting options from luxury labels.
Only 1,200 pairs have been produced, which means you better have your credit card ready come October, when they hit select Sunglass Hut stores and Sunglasshut.com. After all, you and Nanette can't be the only ones who love Emma Roberts' style.
