Karl Lagerfeld's New 'KARLouflage' Collection Hits Net-a-Porter Today
Now that Karl Lagerfeld has successfully relaunched his namesake label—and collaborated on a capsule line of T-shirts—the Kaiser is rolling out a second range. The new collection, called "KARLouflage," landed on Net-a-Porter this morning—accompanied by updated video content in "Karl's World," a portion of the website dedicated to the designer.
The sophomore selection has many similarities to the clothes we saw back in January: there's still several embellished neckpieces, lots of faux leather and a predominantly black color scheme. However, unlike before, this batch has more prints—like a deconstructed intarsia pattern and squiggly camo splotches—and a few items made just for Net-a-Porter. The exclusive pieces, which includes a collared dress in ballet-slipper pink and a bustier sheath with sequin details, are priced higher (from $1,080-$6,070) than everything else (which ranges from $45-$1,045).
Included in the slideshow below are the seven styles we're most, uh, koveting from Karl's kamo-themed kollection (but you can browse everything here) and under that, a behind-the-scenes film from the line's lookbook shoot. It's taken from the perspective of the always-adorable Choupette, and you're rewarded with a cameo from the famous cat at the end. Enjoy!
