Lucky Listens: TEEN's "Electric"
Don't let their youthful name fool you: TEEN isn't your average bubble-gum pop band. The pyschedelic Brooklyn-based group, comprised of sisters Teeny, Katherine and Lizzie Lieberson and their friend Jane Herships, is infiltrating the music scene with their inventive sound and cool girl style. Last week, they were even featured on Stereogum's "Band To Watch" section, based solely on the strength of their EP and music videos. After checking out their latest video for their haunting single "Electric," packed with '60s style and theatrical performances set to the sounds of a thudding base and whirring synthesizers, it's not hard to see why. Watch the video, and then check out some of our picks inspired by the retro minimalist style of TEEN.

TEEN's debut full-length album "In Limbo" will be released by Carpark on August 28.
