Shop Ferragamo's First Ever Online Trunk Show
But as of last night, the brand's fall collection stepped into e-commerce territory via a new online trunk show. Unlike Moda Operandi's trunk show model, Ferragamo's customers pay the full price in one payment instead of two, but they can also expect their purchases much sooner (early to mid-September, in this case).
The timing seems smart—and not just because we think all of our favorite brands should be available online as of, like, yesterday. For fall, Ferragamo's collection features lots of baroque and military touches (black velvet embroidered boots, olive green jackets with bright gold buttons), which is pretty much all we want to wear. And perhaps that'll help attract a younger generation of online shoppers with deep wallets. (Though having an It-girl with famously eclectic style, like Lily Kwong, model the clothes doesn't hurt the brand's attempt at a subversive, fresh image either.)
