Mayle Makes Five Vintage Looking Bags For Club Monaco
So we have good and bad news concerning Jane Mayle. The bad is that she is not resurrecting her namesake label (which shuttered in 2008) and probably never will. However, that doesn't mean she's stopped working. Most recently, the designer lent her talents to Club Monaco…which brings us to the good news portion of this blog post: On October 5, the store is debuting five exclusive Mayle-made bags.
The capsule collection includes color-blocked totes, cross-bodies and satchels made from tan, bottle green and black leather. Understated and label-less, each one has that "my awesome French aunt bought this for me at a flea market" look that Jane does so well. As for the prices, they aren't cheap but not Prada store expensive either. Marked between $195 to $595, the styles are definitely investments, but manageable ones. And your saving and budgeting will be well rewarded, too—click through the slideshow below to see for yourself.
