Amy Adams Models Masks and Balances Pies for Boy. by Band of Outsiders
Band of Outsiders' Scott Sternberg always casts the coolest actors for his lookbooks. Most recently, he shot Josh Brolin playing the banjo and Michelle Williams enjoying a sunny picnic, both while dressed in his preppy clothes. So who landed the plum gig for Fall 2012? None other than Academy Award nominee Amy Adams, who's currently enjoying a healthy dose of additional Oscar buzz for her role in Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master.
As always, the latest Boy. by Band of Outsiders lookbook comes in Polaroid form—and true to Sternberg's signature laid-back, playful campaigns, this one features Amy somersaulting over barnyard posts, swigging from a flask and posing in Japanese Noh masks. And the clothes, all culled from Band of Outsiders' Mexico-meets-Southwest fall collection, are pretty amazing—think plaid midi skirts, sharp suiting separates and one crazy-looking jumpsuit.
