How to Channel Your Favorite Disney Princess Without Looking Like an Idiot

Impossibly tiny-waisted, sparkly-eyed and bouncy-haired, Belle, Ariel, Jasmine and their fairytale friends—aka the Disney Princesses—were the epitome of elegance and grace when we were little girls. (And—whether or not you feel like the films possess a misogynistic undertone—it didn't hurt that they got the guy in the end.)

These days, since you're an adult and all, you don't have to raid your toddler cousin's Pretty Pretty Princess board game to channel the Disney heroine of your choice. In fact, it's entirely possible to reference Cinderella or Snow White in your day-to-day look without seeming like you're playing dress-up. Click through to learn how.

Mix Primary and Pastel Colors

*Snow White and Ariel—duh.
