Mulberry Thinks Great Britain Is Brillant

Between Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee and the Summer 2012 Olympics, Great Britain has been the destination of the year. And, if Mulberry has any say in the matter, it will be for 2013, too.

As part of the V-Becks endorsed "GREAT" (as in, GREAT Britain!) campaign, the brand just launched Brillianbritianguide.com, dedicated to the country's general awesomeness. The site features a long stream of posts with tips on where to stay, museums to visit and food to eat, as well as fun trivia tidbits and insights from fashion and media personalities like Anna Dello Russo and Susie Bubble.

And, in the same "learning is fun!" spirit as the micro-site Chanel launched last week, there's lots of interesting backstory on both England's storied heritage labels and up-and-coming talent. So even if you can't indulge in a full sleep-in-a-castle, distract-the-guards-at-Buckingham-Palace style trip, you'll learn how to shop like you did.

Mulberry also wants readers to nominate their favorite Great Britain spots; the coolest will be featured on the site. And every single submission will be entered for the chance to win a special "handbag of British curiosities," filled with various products recommended throughout the guide. While we can't give you exacts on what those'll be, we can tell you there's some pretty awesome stuff mentioned, including Barbour jackets, fancy hats and (obviously!) Mulberry bags.

So don't miss out: visit Briliantbritianguide.com to plan your visit/ogle pretty pictures/swap tips/possibly win really cool stuff now!
