Yesterday, like the rest of the East Coast, we prepared for the arrival of Hurricane Sandy. We have candles, food, magazines, books and all of our devices are fully charged and ready to go. According to meteorologists, the worst of the storm is still a few hours away, so that leaves us with nothing to do but wait—and shop.
