Have you noticed that the best-dressed girl at every juice joint, sample sale and boutique opening is wearing a baseball cap? And now, you kinda sorta want one, too, but are worried you can't pull it off?
Well, you can—and should. Because technically speaking, that intimidatingly cool chick is cribbing straight from the Spring/Summer 2013 runways, which were full of brimmed lids. Right now, however, the trend is in that tricky-to-hit sweet spot when not too many people are trying it. So those who do really stand out in a "street style photographers will stalk you" kind of way.
Sporty hats will equal je ne sais quoi until next NYFW, which is roughly three and a half months away. So let's not waste them, okay?
