Oribe Hair Care Stylist Tom Gallagher's Steps:
- Prep damp hair with Oribe Gel Sérum, and then blow-dry the roots-first, stretching the hair to get lift (quick trick: do this with your head hanging down).
- Once hair is fully dry, spray large sections with Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray before using a curling iron.
- Pin curls in place, or you can also use hot rollers. Let curls cool while you do your makeup.
- Next, unpin hair and brush it out well in all directions to loosen the curls.
- Form a ponytail on top of the head, and then spray the hair with Dry Texturizing Spray and lightly back-comb.
- Next, casually fold the hair into a sloppy bun.
- Finish by attaching a clip or broach to the front of the bun.
- If you’re in New York City, make sure your last stop is 57th and 5th for a bagel and coffee in front of Tiffany's.

Oribe's Steps:
- Mist with Royal Blowout Heat Styling Spray and blow hair out.
- Separate hair into one inch sections and spray each section from roots with end with Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray.
- Set with a curling iron from roots to ends, pinning curls for a classic set.
- After curling the entire head, take hair down, apply Dry Texturizing Spray at the roots for lift and comb hair into place.
- Apply Imperméable Anti-Humidity Spray as you’re working, separating hair with your hands.
- If your hair is thick, use Après Beach Wave and Shine Spray.

Kardashian Waves
Steps from Frank Galasso, co-owner of BARNES&GALASSO salon in West Hollywood, CA, who has been working with the Kardashian sisters for five years:
- First l use the Oribe Hair Care Volumista on the roots to blow dry.
- After the hair is blown out, I spray it with Oribe Hair Care Dry Texturizing Spray and shake the hair out.
- Next, I use a curling iron and on each section I spray Oribe Hair Care Superfine Hair Spray for hold as I curl.
- Once I'm done, I spray some Oribe Hair Care Après Beach Wave & Shine Spray and brush the hair out.
- My finishing touch is a little Oribe Hair Care Original Pomade on ends to piece them out.
- I finish the look with Imperméable Anti-Humidity Spray and another mist of Superfine Hair Spray to set the look.
- If I do a straight hair look, I do everything the same, but I use a flat iron instead of a curling iron.

Brigitte Bardot's Bed Head
"Brigitte Bardot’s style is amazing. Use my Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray to create the look. You can either blow-dry the product straight into the hair, or use a curling iron to seal in the shine while keeping that movement and waviness. Using my Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray with hot tools will give the hair that beautiful texture.
This is a great hairdo because it’s longer and easily workable with bangs. It’s versatile, and it frames the face in beautiful, romantic way. The Bardot style can be tailored to just about every woman."—Oribe, Co-founder and Creative Director of Oribe Hair Care

Flapper Waves
Tom Gallagher's Steps:
- "Apply Rock Hard Gel to damp hair at the roots. Create a defined side part and use a blowdryer and your hands to create a wave slightly off the wave on either side of the part.
- Clip the waves in place and let them cool.
- Use either Gel Sérum (for coarse hair) or Crème for Style (for softer hair) to blowdry the rest of the hair.
- Spray hair with Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray and use a medium-barrel curling iron to create horizontal waves in alternating directions down to the ends of the hair. To do this, take horizontal sections of hair in the iron, leaving the ends out, and rotate the iron one turn.
- Then flip the direction of the iron and create another wave below the first. Continue this pattern of switching directions all the way down to the ends. This will create a mock finger wave effect.
- Remove clips from the hairline. Use your hands and cold air from the blow dryer to loosen the set and give the style a more modern, comfortable look.
- If the hair is longer, pin it under at the hairline to create a faux bob.
- Spray with Dry Texturizing Spray to set and add texture.
- Finish with a classic pin from a flea market or vintage store."
