Cute Ski Clothes You Can Wear Off the Slopes
Skiing and snowboarding clothes can be annoying because they're bulky, and not particularly versatile. You throw all those parkas and neckwarmers and long johns in your vacation suitcase, and then when it's time to pack real clothes, all you have space for is a travel-sized dry shampoo. The worst.
That's why I'm a fan of the winter sportswear in the slideshow below. Made to weather cold, sweat and wind, they're snow clothes, for sure, but they're also restaurant and bar and shopping clothes, too. And it's exactly that multi-purpose-ness makes them the best skiing and snowboarding clothes ever, in my book.
Long Underwear
Let that adorable floral print peek out at the neck and sleeves of a crewneck sweater.
Puffer Vest
Layer it under a plain peacoat to make it look like it has a cool, bright lining.
Quick-Dry Flannel
Work it into a tomboy-ish outfit with brogues and skinny cords.
Neckwarmer
Pair it with black moto jackets, too, not just your ski parka. It'll add a bit of model-off-duty layering perfection to your look.
Polarized Sunglasses
They'd give jeans and a t-shirt just the right amount of attitude.
Fleece Layer
It'd be pretty adorable with a breton striped shirt and some red ballet flats.
Ski Pants
Tucked into tall black boots, they'd also make good date night pants.
Ski Hat
It's a whole lot of adorable-ness, so keep the rest of your outfit super-simple.
Colorblocked and sleek, it fits in that category of puffers you want to wear out to dinner, too.
They make the best layering pieces underneath jumpers and sleeveless dresses—super-slim, yet totally warm.
