Magical Mud Masks at the Blue Lagoon

This Thanksgiving my boyfriend and I went to Iceland for a little holiday getaway. We stayed in Reykjavik for most of the time but took a day to relax at the famous Blue Lagoon, a touristy yet lovely geothermal spa with a hot lagoon to soak in. My favorite part (besides the swim up bar) was the silica mud. This white mud naturally lives on the floor of lagoon and is a natural moisturizer and exfoliator. You can use the mud as a face mask or as a scrub for your skin. It really made my face so soft I had to buy some from their store on-site. Looking forward to some mud mask spa nights this winter!
