Where to Shop in Palm Beach, Florida

As a former public relations director for Cartier in New York, Jordann Weingartner learned a ton about fine jewelry. Now living in Palm Beach, Florida and operating a jewelry business of her own, Weingartner's exploring a different side of the industry.

Her online company, I Love Jewelry Auctions, sells on-trend baubles at wallet-friendly prices—all exclusively through Facebook. It's a little different than how Cartier did things, but it's certainly working: as I write this, I Love Jewelry Auctions currently has 158,000 Facebook fans and counting.

The shopping process is remarkably simple. After "liking" the company's page and registering, customers comment "SOLD" on each piece they want to buy in the thrice-weekly auctions (Tuesday, Thursdays and Sunday nights at 8:30 PM EST). They then receive their invoice via email. Not only is it an easy way to shop, it's sort of fun in its novelty, too. Of course, that's not the only reason the company's quickly gained so many fans. With an amazing selection of jewelry (wrap bracelets, stud earrings, statement necklaces) at great prices (most range from $20-$200), there really is a lot to like.

Below, we asked Jordann to share some of her favorite places to shop in her new hometown—a popular winter vacation spot. If you're headed there, we recommend that you check them out (and maybe make a day trip to Miami!). If not, though, we'd suggest heading over to I Love Jewelry Auctions on Facebook. It's sort of addictive.

"Every girl from Palm Beach needs a Lilly fix every once in a while! The Orricos are great friends so I love to pop in to catch up and shop. It is also a great place to meet up with friends because everyone stops in. I love the atmosphere and always stay for hours."
