Kate Hudson Designs an Ann Taylor Collection
Kate Hudson is returning for another round as Ann Taylor's face—but this time, things will be different. In addition to fronting the brand's Spring 2013 campaign, the actress is contributing a collection of her own.
Co-created with Lisa Axelson, the label's creative director, the range applies Hudson's breezy red carpet style to basics you can wear every day. And while it's her first designing endeavor, Kate seems very confident about the project.
"Working with Ann Taylor has been a great creative experience, and there is a really wonderful connection," she told WWD. "Ann Taylor is great at creating iconic wardrobe staples and updating them season after season. I love that Lisa Axelson is designing clothes for real women."
I have no idea what any of the clothes look like yet, but am hoping with all my heart for a version of her yellow backless gown from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (the holy grail of dresses for every high school girl during the early aughts). What famous Kate Hudson look—from her movies, award show appearances or otherwise—would you like to shop next season? Tell us in the comments below!
You'll be able to see all of Hudson's Ann Taylor advertisements early next month and shop her line at Ann Taylor stores in May.
