Celebrity Stylist Kate Young Designs Eveningwear for Target

This spring, it's gonna get a lot easier to dress like an A-lister without hiring help or running up a four-figure bill on Moda Operandi. Stylist Kate Young is working on a collection of full- and semi-formalwear with Target, set to launch on April 14.
Given her background dressing celebrities for premieres and award shows, many of Kate's creations look red carpet-ready. Her intent, however, is to bring that specialness to all kinds of occasions. "There’s a little bit of magic in evening," Young told WWD. "You put an outfit on in the hope of having a good time. It’s not like being correct or formal. It’s about the magic that entails."
The entire line, which includes both clothing and accessories, will all cost less than $89.99. But, as prices start at a mere $14.99, it'll be entirely possible to buy some head-to-toe outfits for under $100. And just because it's inexpensive, don't think her clients won't be wearing it—as many of them are big Target fans, they likely will.
"A lot of my clients wear Target," she said. "Natalie [Portman] wore a lot of the pieces from Rodarte and both Michelle Williams and Natalie wore a lot of Jason Wu for Target."
Better plan ahead for this one, guys. With endorsements like that—and a debut date during prom season—stock surely won't last.
