Margie Plus: Leather Accents
As seen during the Fall 2013 NYFW runway shows, leather is still very much on trend. Instead of pieces made entirely of leather, however, we have been seeing a lot of leather accents. A little goes a long way, after all, and can instantly spruce up your look. These accents can easily transform basic silhouettes into something more special.
Leather sleeves are one of the best ways to wear the trend. At left, I'm wearing a super-comfortable faux leather sleeve Forever 21 blazer that frames my printed top. Plus size brands are adding leather accents to tons of items right now, from jackets to cardigans to skirts. Click through to see what I mean!
