Yes, we’re in the midst of Fashion Month, being inundated with street style pics, the newest trends and a bajillion other random nuggets of inspiration—but my enthusiasm has kind of dwindled, because I already know exactly how I want to dress in the upcoming months.

I recently tore through the first season of Twin Peaks (I was home sick with the super-flu and nothing but Netflix to pass the time), and I became obsessed. The brilliant, noir-ish '90s show about a murder in a sleepy Washington town is everything—scary, thrilling, funny, bizarre and seriously inspirational fashion-wise. The standout style icon at the center of it all? Naughty oddball high school student Audrey Horne, whose go-to sweaters, pleated A-line skirts and white tights/saddle shoes combo equal a schoolgirl-chic look that I’m dying to wear right now.
