H&M's COS Brand Is Coming Stateside!
For an editor, no trip abroad is complete without a stop at COS, H&M's higher-priced sister brand. Packed with professional basics and boxy, avant-garde silhouettes, the store is one of our favorite destinations for ultra-chic work wear. And while labels like Topshop, Sandro and Maje have gradually trickled across the Atlantic to our shores, it seemed for awhile that COS would always remain a Europe-exclusive style source.
Until now. According to WWD, H&M is in the midst of a massive retail push—and as part of the company's expansion efforts, COS will be heading Stateside sometime in the not-too-distant future. "COS for sure will be in America," says Daniel Kulle, U.S. President of H&M. "We’re looking for an opportunity to open COS."
In other news, & Other Stories, H&M's recently-launched higher-end line, could potentially open in the United States as well. As for those H&M e-commerce rumors? A shoppable site will definitely be unveiled this summer. Not sure about you, but we're doing happy dances at our desks at this very moment. Click through to peep a few shots from COS' most recent campaign—see what we mean?
