Rachel Antonoff's Lena Dunham-Directed Fall 2013 Video Is All About Friendship

Unless you've been living under a fashion rock, you know that Rachel Antonoff makes some of the sweetest collared dresses, slogan sweatshirts and saddle shoes in the biz. And unless you've been living under a pop cultural rock, you know that the designer's brother Jack—who plays guitar for Grammy-winning band fun.—dates Lena Dunham, the star/creator of HBO's hit series Girls. And since Lena and Rachel are fast friends in real life, we knew it was only a matter of time before a creative collaboration materialized between the talented pair.

Well, that day has come. While Rachel chose to forgo her usual fun-filled presentation last month—a shame, as it's always a NYFW highlight—she's chosen to share her new collection in video format. Directed by none other than Lena Dunham and entitled "Best Friends", it's a day-in-the-life-style examination of two pals sharing an apartment in New York, awkwardly kissing boys and swapping stories. As if that isn't Girls-y enough, one of the BFFs is even played by Grace Dunham, Lena's little sister, and the whole story is narrated by Adam Driver—Hannah Horvath's sometimes-boyfriend from the show. That said, the characters in this four-minute-long mini-movie are certainly better dressed than Hannah and her gang—little surprise, as they're wearing head-to-toe Rachel Antonoff. Head over to to check it out now!
