How To Keep Your Shoes Fresh All Summer

I may be getting a little personal here, but my feet smell—especially in the summer. It's probably the result of walking all over the city in the heat, with no socks, at a somewhat competitive pace. However, I'm sure I'm not the only one who suffers from the dreaded foot sweats of summer. All that nastiness can really take its toll on your shoes, effectively ruining them. Over the years, I've learned a few tips and tricks that help keep them fresh for at least a whole season. In fact, I'm currently enjoying the second summer of my beloved Supergas and they smell just great(ish). Follow these rules and you'll get your money's worth.

Powder Down

For starters, always sprinkle a little baby powder in your shoes before you wear them. This will keep your feet dry and keep your insoles cleaner.
