Will Cara Delevingne Give Up Modeling To Act?

Digital Writer

Right now, Cara Delevingne is one of the most sought-after ladies in the fashion biz. Known on the blog circuit for her brand of street style that's very, well, street—not to mention her magnetic personality—she's a regular in both high profile campaigns (DKNY, Mulberry and Burberry, anyone?) and magazine editorials. During fashion month, her list of runway gigs reads like the lineup at a luxury mall: Chanel, Stella McCartney, Oscar de la Renta.

Yet Cara's clearly not content to spend the rest of her life just strutting catwalks and appearing on ad pages; she's had designs on a movie career for awhile now. After playing the small part of Princess Sorokina in Anna Karenina last year, the model has been seeking larger roles in the hopes of becoming a full-time actress. Now, it seems she's landed her biggest part yet, in an upcoming movie called Kids In Love. According to this report in the The Daily Mail, it's a leading role and she'll be playing a "hard-partying young Londoner." (So, um, basically herself?)

We're not totally sure if this rumor is true, of course, but we're very interested if it is. Because Cara has such a powerful presence in photographs and give such charming interviews, it seems like that charisma would translate beautifully to the big screen. We'd paid full price to see her (alleged) new film—would you?
