COS Invades Opening Ceremony
If you're still celebrating the news that COS is debuting stateside next spring, then you're going to flip out over this: starting October 11, select pieces from the brand will be at Opening Ceremony, both in a pop-up at its Howard Street store and online. But everything will only be available for one month, so stock up if you don't have any future trips to Europe planned.
This special partnership, which was announced in WWD yesterday, won't feature any OC-exclusive pieces; as it turns out, the store's co-founders, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, are just huge fans of H&M's higher-end label. "COS is a fashion-industry favorite for those who often travel to London and Paris and haven’t been able to get the collection in the U.S. until now," they told the trade paper. "We’re excited to share our love of this brand with our New York customers for the first time." Even still, they wouldn't be opposed to idea of collaborating down the road. "It’s definitely something to consider for the future." Sounds promising to us.
