So it's official, then: with the announcement of the 2014 Golden Globes nominees this morning, it's only a matter of time before we pour all our spending money into last-minute movie tickets and cancel weekend plans for the purposes of camping out in front of our DVRs.

While Argo dominated in the major categories at last year's Globes, a new legion of actresses, TV shows and movies earned nods for 2014. Our money is on either 12 Years a Slave or American Hustle to sweep this time around, both leading with seven nominations each.
