I'm fully addicted to flats. I buy beautiful heels with every intention of wearing them, but then I put them on in the morning and feel far too tall or overdressed or just want to be comfy. I will admit they do wonderful things for the legs (if not the feet), but still I shy away.

Now, on the heels of the debut of his eponymous book, Schuman is teaming up with Topshop to bring you five of his favorite looks from New York Fashion Week--and they're all shoppable!

Choosing just 10 looks from the entirety of New York Fashion Week isn't easy. Just bringing the topic up in the office nearly caused a riot! There were so many names to consider: the heavy hitters--Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Max Azria and Michael Kors; the new crop of hot, young designers--Alexander Wang, Jason Wu, Phillip Lim and Rodarte; and the up-and-comers--Rachel Comey, Vena Cava, ADAM and Rag & Bone.

Our fashion director, Hope Greenberg, loved Jason Wu's adorable feathered skirt and ruffled top combo.

There's always a chance of bumping into a celebrity in New York City, especially during Fashion Week, when a-listers are hard to miss. Narrowing the list of our favorite big-name run-ins to our top ten wasn't exactly easy--between the front row, the all-night parties and the madness that was the first-ever Fashion's Night Out, there was no shortage of star power.

Throughout New York Fashion Week, while hitting shows around the city to report on the newest and latest for spring 2010, our fashion news team captured what was big off the runway to help inspire your fall wardrobe choices.

All week, we will be looking back at the highlights of New York Fashion Week. We've already recapped our favorite parties; here, a playlist of the top 10 songs from the shows.

All week, we will be looking back at the highlights of New York Fashion Week. To begin: a rundown of our favorite parties.

1) Fashion's Night Out (FNO) - With everyone out on the streets--editors, designers, celebrities, New Yorkers--it felt like a New Year's celebration. Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen bartended at Barneys, while Bette Midler, Barbara Walters and Sarah Jessica Parker joined Oscar de la Renta in serenading customers in his Madison Avenue store!

2) Paper Magazine 25th Anniversary - Uptown met downtown when Paper Magazine hosted an extravaganza at the New York Public Library to celebrate its 25th anniversary. There were performances by Queen Latifah, The Virgins, and Liza Minnelli, who brought down the house with her rendition of 'New York, New York'.

3) Rachel Zoe Party at The Standard Hotel - The glamourquotient at The Standard could not have been any higher when Rachel Zoehosted a party for the new season of her reality TV show, "The Rachel Zoe Project."Holding court on the banquettes were aspiring actress Tallulah Harlech;and socials Tinsley Mortimer, Jackie Astier, and Fabiola Beracasa.

Here at Lucky , we're huge fans of Steven Alan's fashion-forward yet preppy aesthetic. A few days ago, editor Rachel Siegel was lucky enough to meet the man behind the boutique at his 15th anniversary party at The Yard in Soho, where guests took in a film of his spring 2010 collection. Today, Steven put the video up on his website for everyone to enjoy.

It follows a beautiful couple through a variety of day-to-day activities--picnicking outside, getting dressed in the morning--and ends with a dinner party where Steven is among the guests. Of course, the actors are dressed impeccably throughout!

Helmut Lang is one of my favorite collections. I loved it when it was done by the designer himself and still love it now that it's been spun off for a wider market. Even though the changes from season to season are subtle, I always look forward to going to the showroom to see what's new.
