One of the greatest things about living in New York City is being able to walk everywhere. I love the sights and sounds I encounter every time I decide to forego the subway in favor of a nice stroll. And I think winter is one of the nicest times to walk around the city. I love the glow of apartment windows in the evenings, peeking into fogged-up restaurants, admiring local decorations, popping in and out of shops. Winter in New York can be quite romantic. It's a great season for falling in love with the city itself.

Lela Rose Shops Jackson Hole: Truly Authentic Western Antiques

The places mentioned and things to do are for tourists who refuse to eat ice cream from ice cream chains and avoid taking pictures of people under the town square antlers.

If you've ever visited Jackson Hole you can attest to the fact that the "Western" aesthetic can sometimes feel a little hoaky. The owner of Fighting Bear Antiques does a great job of finding authentic pieces (always with a great back story) to fill the store. Lela Rose Shops Jackson Hole: I Recommend the Flowers...

Lela Rose, Guest Blogger, Jackson Hole guide, Lily and Company thumb For those who have a day or two to spend in Jackson Hole, this is the blog for you.
