When I start to reel off the enormous range of trends covered in the See By Chloe holiday/resort collection, it seems impossible that so many ideas can work in one line.

As far as a setting for a fashion show, it doesn't get much more picturesque than the Bridge Country Club in Bridgehampton, NY (look at the insane view of the ocean and the spectacular course from the patio of the club house) where former InStyle fashion market director, Toby Tucker Peters, launched her new line of woman's golf (and apres golf) apparel this past Saturday. As a golfer, I can attest to the fact that the options for cool, fashionable golf wear for women are slim.

Thanks to Club Monaco's holiday presentation, I know what I want to wear to parties this December. Starting with their new loungewear collection as a base, "The Club" has perfected a sparkly/lingerie/menswear mix--a great alternative to the often-expected cocktail dress.

When people say, "You have a dream job--you get to look at clothes all day," it's actually impossible for me to self-deprecatingly deny this. It is, in fact, true that one of the best parts of being a fashion editor is going around to showrooms and feeling inspired by beautiful clothes.

I've said it beforeand I'll repeat it now--Talbots is in the middle of an amazing transformation. Gone is the place where conservative ladies of a certain age shopped for button-down shirts and cardigan sweaters.

While I know that the Marc by Marc Jacobs line is considered the younger offshoot of MJ's main collection, I always love how there's something for everyone each season, no matter what your age. I think that if I walked into a Marc by Marc store with my friend's 17-year-old daughter, both of us would end up with a dressing room full of clothes.

On my vacation wish list (and for when I win the lottery) is an Abercrombie and Kent African safari. I don't actually know anyone who's ever been on one of these trips, but according to the company's literature, on the "East African Hemingway Safari" I'd "experience the romance of mobile camping in private camps set up as close as possible to wildlife areas" and then in the evening "dine at linen-draped tables under the starry African skies" while "enjoying attentive service from a private tent butler."
