I've been a fan of the T by Alexander Wang line of knits for a long time; they're as slinky and slouchy and sexy as tees can be. I just found a new excuse to spring for another: they now come in stripes!

Take a look at these photos (more after the jump)--is there anyone more deserving of a style crush than Charlotte Gainsbourg? And as if that weren't enough to put my obsession into overdrive, I've been listening to the just released song from her upcoming album, produced by Beck, on repeat. I realized the other day that despite having collected a decent supply of rollies and duffels over the years, I'm missing a great bag for a short two day trip. I'm looking for something really lightweight, durable, and grown-up looking, with long handles so I can carry it on my shoulders and a zippered top to keep my stuff secure. I finally think I may have found it.

I spent the weekend in
Las Vegas, and as fate would have it my trip and stay at the Encore hotel coincided with
Wynn's annual Warehouse Sale. After seeing advertisements scattered around the casino, I went on a lark yesterday thinking I might come out with a bathroom scale (I was imagining an excess of furniture and housewares from the resorts) and ended up scoring a couture dress for an unfathomably great price. I'm going to be high on this deal for months.

striped Saint James tees (so chic and timeless, and I love that they're authentically French) yesterday at half off. I've become dangerously obsessed with
Deal of the Day. I went a little nuts a couple weeks ago when
Votivo's red currant candles (a scent I will never, ever get sick of) were going for $12.50 and ordered a generous supply to last me through the next few months. Yesterday I was emailing with Liz, who heads up Lucky Breaks, and she asked me what my dream Deal of the Day would be--a question I found ridiculously fun to ponder.

Though it's not unusual at all to see fashion designers branching out into home design (Armani,
Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and so on) it's very rare to find furniture manufacturers trying their hands at fashion. So last week I was really surprised to hear that Restoration Hardware has started dabbling in accessories. More specifically: paper-thin, super-fine, oversize, raw edged, exactly-how-I-like-them cashmere scarves.

Now that it's cold again I'm back to my fall-winter pattern of wearing black opaque stockings at least three or four times a week. The other day I made
my annual pilgrimage to discount department store Century 21 to stock on hosiery for the season and emerged with a new all-time favorite.
