Surfing lagarconne.com last night I came across the Golden Goose boots I've been coveting forever. They're a classic, elegant equestrian style with a rock and roll spin, with leather straps, metal buckles, and a gorgeously distressed finish. They're completely handmade, and the craftsmanship is beyond exquisite. At $1274 they're also ludicrously expensive, and as much as I love to daydream about all the outfits I'd pair them with (one of my favorites involves an exotic embroidered white dress and shrunken denim jacket), and even though I know I'd wear them for years and years if I won the lottery and actually sprang for them, at that price they'll probably never be anything more than a fantasy for me. So anyway. Indulge me. I want to know: money and all reason aside, if you could add anything to your closet what would it be?
