Auto, my go-to destination for gifts (both

for others and myself!), is offering a 20 percent discount on their entire inventory. I just spotted the
Tivoli radio I wrote about last month—this thing really is such a pleasure to listen to and look at. They're also a great destination for Epice scarves, which come in such pretty patterns and feel impossibly soft and light (like
this paisley cotton version in watercolor-y aqua, which

also works as a sarong). I love
Ingrid Cusson's patterned suede checkbook covers,

and
this hand painted linen cotton pillow by John Robshaw is a tempting addition for my living room couch. The sale lasts until Jul 24th and the coupon code is "summersale09".

One of the things that makes me happiest on a daily basis is
my Tivoli stereo. With the cherry wood casing and pared down aesthetic, it's hands-down the chicest sound system on the market. The audio quality is amazing—despite the compact size, the speakers are really clear and rich and are more than adequate for the occasional late night dance party that's been known to go down in my apartment! As a radio, it can pick up even really remote stations without any static. It's really easy to plug an iPod into the back, though I highly recommend taking things a step further, using an
Airport Express to stream music wirelessly from the iTunes library on your computer to the stereo. Seriously. It'll change your life.
