I think I've only ever had one lasting crush on a celebrity (the gorgeous Matthew Goode, from Brideshead Revisited and that awful Mandy Moore movie Chasing Liberty). But now that his role in Watchmen involves peroxide-blond hair, I think I'll be moving on. To Frieda Pinto. Honestly, I think I could look at pictures of her all day, she is just that beautiful. How, you might ask, does this translate into my style? As, ummm, one of you pointed out in the comments section a few weeks ago, I sometimes skew too hard toward my preppy inclinations, and so I want to shock my system with something a bit more exotic. A new makeup pouch would be a pretty easy place to start, particularly since my current one is trashed—I love this small, but vibrant dose of ikat. And this slouchy evening pouch from Mango is kind of awesome (this coming from someone who has never owned a snake-print anything). Maybe it won't fully Frieda Pinto-ize me, but it's a step in the right direction. Any of you have someone who's inspiring you to jazz up your look?
