The best piece of tech I own

I have a digital camera from 2002, which is almost equivalent to still using a hand-held car phone that's the size of a baseball mitt. It's really big and heavy. But I swear it takes good pictures, and since I don't feel like spending money on a new one, I've never upgraded. I did, however, spring for the first generation of Flip Video (in case you missed it, the Flip is a hand-held video camera that weighs almost nothing and is ridiculously easy to operate). I take it everywhere--when I travel, when I meet friend's babies for the first time, when I go out for dinner because the resulting videos are hilarious and awesome. Flip
just put out the new
HD Ultra, which has the same heft as the original (it fits nicely in the palm of your hand) but is, well, HD. And it's insanely well-priced, at $199, considering that the picture quality is the best you'll find. It would solve my camera problem, too, since you can literally turn anything you've filmed into still photographs.
