This year, Hanukkah—the eight-day Jewish festival of lights celebrating the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem with latkes, dreidels and jelly donuts—is particularly special because the first day of the holiday falls on Thanksgiving. It's never happened before, and it's not going to happen again for hundreds of years (it's a calendar anomaly, with the Jewish calendar intersecting just so with the solar calendar).

With that in mind, celebrate this very unusual Thursday in style with turkey-topped potato pancakes and the Hanukkah-themed gifts and decorations in the slideshow above!
