miranda cosgrove: eight days, eight outfits

The iCarly star, and budding fashion genius, breaks down her outfits for Lucky.

It's not typical for us to take style cues from teenagers, though it's increasingly seeming like we should. With the Elle Fannings and Hailee Steinfelds of Hollywood giving the Kate Hudsons and Drew Barrymores a run for their Manolos on the red carpet, we could do worse than worship what the teen set is wearing.

And then there's Miranda Cosgrove, Neutrogena Brand Ambassador, Nickelodeon star and bonafide teen icon who recently landed a New York TImes Magazine cover story (yes, you heard that right: New York Times Magazine COVER STORY). She may not have a Miu Miu ad yet like Hailee, or a Marc Jacobs campaign like Elle, but just give her time. While her appeal is wholly innocent and sunny, her fashion sense is getting cooler by the day.

Check out what Cosgrove had to say about her outfits in our slideshow, and catch iCarly's latest episode on Saturday, March 24 at 8pm (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. She'll also be at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday, March 31 (we just hope she doesn't wear anything too awesome to that one, given the slime risk).

"I love this outfit that I wore to a taping at MTV because it was so comfortable. I worked with my stylist Karla (Welch) who helped me pick pieces that work throughout the day. The dress is by Temperley, the T-shirt is by Zoe Karssen, the skirt is by Girl and the boots are by Robert Cleregie."
