How Cute Is This: Muji Lego

I can barely cut in a straight line—seriously, I failed that in kindergarten and never improved much—but I’m not going to let that stop me from trying my hand at Muji Lego! The Japanese retailer, known for its clever designs and minimalist products, teamed up with Lego in 2009 to create these beyond-cute play sets. Recommended for the 6+ set, they let kids and their crafty parents combine the beloved bricks with paper parts to create tiny imaginary worlds that remind us of something from a Wes Anderson movie. You can get inspired over at the Giggle blog (another great parenting resource), where designer David Netto’s amazing Calder circus-inspired creation can be seen.
