My Mom, the Style Icon: Jane Kwon
My mom would put together insanely cute outfits—even for a trip to the grocery store.
My mother, Jane Kwon, Didn’t need an excuse to dress up. A brief, daily visit with my father, pictured here during his residency at Tufts in 1969, was reason enough to look her absolute best. Fashion was—and still is—her passion, and as a self-anointed expert, she constantly dishes out tips like “Forget who designed it—it’s more important if you love it!” “Lipstick makes every outfit look better!” and “Buy multiples of your favorite basics!” She’s been thinking like a Lucky editor for decades, and I’m still learning from her. —Anne Keane, Lucky fashion director
