Lucky fashion assistant Whitney Feldmann has a thing for over-the-top opulence: “I really love Versailles,” she says of the French palace. “There’s absolutely nothing like it. Especially the rooms decorated by Marie Antoinette—they’re the inspiration for shabby-chic!” This season, Feldmann is injecting that same luxe, feminine vibe into her closet, in the form of plush knits and silky trousers in soft shades of robin’s egg blue and pale peach. And she’s balancing it all with a little quirk. “A clutch in a fun floral print or with a wacky design gives everything a lighthearted feel,” she says.
