When it comes to her fall wardrobe, style editor Laurel Pantin is starting fresh. "I just want to wear cool, natural tones, like sand and beige," she says. "There's something that feels so clean about them—it's like hitting a reset button on my closet." To keep things interesting, she's mixing in folksy fabrics. "Give me anything with fringe or fuzz," says Pantin of the woven brown coats, tan teddy-bear jackets and embellished bags she's eyeing. "I love pieces that have a handmade vibe and balancing them with contemporary basics, like a slipdress or a pair of straight-leg jeans."
