Clearly, fashion is in the family: Maje's creator, Judith Milgrom, is the sister of Evelyne Ché trite, the creator of fellow affordable French label Sandro (for our favorite Sandro location, look to the listings for the 3rd arrondissement). While Sandro focuses on clean shapes and expert tailoring, Maje tackles a slightly younger, ethnic-infused sensibility. There are tuxedo jackets, but they hang next to embroidered tunics, and there are unadorned cotton tops, but they're paired with shaggy fur vests.
