Repeat buy: "Prada Amber Eau de Parfum, since it's my favorite smell ever."

Items you'd save in a fire: "One of my carpet coats, this lengthy polyester dress covered in a Technicolor poppy arrangement, and my mom's red high-top Nike's she's had since high school."

Jewelry constant: "A knobby resin ring with a spider in it."

Going-out outfit: "Either a little dress with some eccentric stockings or form-fitting pants with platform shoes, with some boldly colored lipstick."

First memorable fashion purchase: "It was this choker piece with a deep swooping décolletage, covered in creamy Victorian beads, lace, and rhinestones that I found when I was 13. It must have been from the '30s."

Go-to Bar: "The Sandpiper, a.k.a. The Dirty Bird."

Restaurants of choice: "Sushi Studio, La Sirena, Tommy's Burger, and In-N-Out."

Favorite music venue: "I love The Glass House: Fantastic sound quality and the perfect size. Plus, it's skimpy on the "hip" crowd, though I think that has something to do with it being in Pomona."
