I scored these vintage dresses for $5 each at a the Alameda Point Antiques Faire in the San Francisco Bay Area this weekend. When I saw the $5 sign, I pretty much dropped everything and started frantically scouring the racks! I've been obsessed with the '60s lately, so these fancy frocks will fit right in with my ever-expanding vintage wardrobe.

I picked this sweater tee up during my first visit to the Woodbury Commons outlets this weekend. It’s a great fall transition piece that I can wear now. I was so impressed with Woodbury Commons—deals were great and none of the stores seemed picked over. I can’t wait to go back!

Summer is on its way out, and I couldn't be happier. This nautical sweater was on sale, but I figured, "Why yes, I could wear this into the fall" so I bought it. Maybe I won't be on a boat in the dead of November, but I can still play the nostalgia game, right?
Disclaimer: I actually bought this once already and ruined it, I liked it that much.

I’m known as a dress girl around the office. But, damn, I want to look a little cooler, a little tougher. To that end, I bought these black Hudson military-style cargo jeans this weekend. It will take more than a pair of jeans, even these really hot ones, to reinvent myself, but it’s a start. P.S. I’m short, so I plan on pairing them with sky-high pointy heels and tall wedge booties for fall.

I am looking forward to enjoying this Celine bag for years to come - the design is so timeless. I love it because it's so simple and the inside compartments are just as perfectly streamlined as the outside.

While shopping out in Southampton this weekend I scored this ultra-chic striped turkish towel, which of course I’m now totally obsessed with. It’s great for the beach, doubles as as sarong, and is so stylish that I just may replace every single one of my bath towels with more, turning my bathroom into a preppy turkish hammam.

In preparation for the exciting e-commerce launch, I decided to enter Zara for some pre-fall shopping. I literally wear a blazer almost every day, so it was time to re-stock my grey collection. The best part, this blazer is cloth so I can still wear in the office for the remainder of summer.

I bought this goddess-y maxi dress at the Calypso store out in Montauk this past week. My summer shopping ritual is to buy a new dress each summer from Calypso—I’m a little late this year—and I fell in love with this one when I saw it on the salesperson. It’s a little pricey for me as I usually snag (Calypso founder) Christiane Celle’s silk dresses which are a bit less expensive, but this dress was so versatile. I have already given it a workout as a beach cover-up and I’m planning on wearing it to some end of summer cocktail parties. Also at the store is Lauren Bush’s Lauren Pierce Atelier for Calypso.

I bought this silk shirt at Calypso in indigo blue. It’s tissue weight and long enough to wear as a tunic but light enough that if I tuck it in, it’s not bulky. I already love it so much I might have to go back and get it in white.

I got this black skirt off Net-a-porter. I needed a pencil skirt. The fabric is stretchy so it’s very comfortable, and the two zippers allow me to control leg exposure levels. Also, it’s that perfect transition weight so I can wear it now with bare legs, and later with tights and boots when (if!) it gets cooler.

My birthday is at the end of this month and I like to treat myself early (and often). This Ariel Gordon cube bracelet was calling my name. It’s delicate with a tiny smattering of diamonds.
