SXSW's Coolest Music Girls Tell Us What They're Packing: Part II

In the second installment of our annual SXSW style coverage, artists like the bluesy Elle King and orchestral trio Sidney York reveal their style staples and the products they can't leave home without. Like the SXSW crowd itself, their picks are hugely varied—and anything but typical.

Click through to learn what the edgiest female artists can’t live without during the annual Austin music festival.

Elle King

Elle King may resemble Blondie, but her bluesy voice will cut right through your heart like a grittier version of Adele. (Her song "Good to Be a Man" should be mandatory listening for anyone who's ever had their heart broken.) A native of Brooklyn who's lived in Copenhagen, amongst other exotic locations, King channels her life experiences into her intimate, tormented music. With a personal style sense rooted in punky femininity, King likes her eyes as smoky as her voice and her hair bleached blonde. She's also a fan of tattoos and little black dresses.
