Aritzia Continues to Dominate North America

This morning, Canadian super-boutique Aritzia invited a bunch of fashion people to wander the floors of its new 5th Avenue store. Like its SoHo outpost, the space is filled with a little something for everyone. There are tailored work pieces, tomboyish varsity jackets and coats, and frilly lacey things (if you're feeling ethereal). 

But this morning's biggest news had nothing to do with these fancy digs: The brand has officially launched e-commerce at Aritzia.com, which means anyone in the States can access the goods, not just those of us lucky enough to have a brick-and-mortar store nearby.

To accompany all that shoppable fashion, Aritizia has also launched a magazine, which will be updated weekly with completely original content. Manning the helm as Editor-in-Chief is Luke Crisell, former Executive Editor at Nylon. The first headline I saw was "Winter is Coming," which may or may not be a Game of Thrones reference. Whether or not it was intentional, it basically means it's awesome. Keep a weather eye on the Aritzia website each week for updates.
