Shop it on myLucky: Dries van Noten-Inspired Feather Pieces
Last season, Dries van Noten had arguably the most buzzed-about Paris Fashion Week show, thanks to the collection's fabric of choice: plaids with a little bit of sheen, neither fully metallic nor flannel-grungey but something in between, something that looked new.
For Fall 2013, Dries used another fabric (or texture, rather) to get everyone talking: feathers. They were the wispy, maribou-boa kind, confetti-ed everywhere—on tops, skirts and dresses. Dyed in neon sherbets and paired with crisp button-downs, they're weren't the familiar '20s flapper sort of feathers, but something more modern. And we loved them.
