You'll Never Guess Who Kate Moss Is Collaborating With Now

Kate Moss has been surprising us left and right this month! First she popped up at the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2013 show, taking the runway for the first time since 2011; a few weeks later, the super not only spoke—something she rarely does in public—on live radio, but read a rather explicit passage from 50 Shades of Grey. But her latest move might just be the biggest doozy of all: designing for Sushi Shop.

In case you haven't guessed from the name, "Sushi Shop" is just that: a shop that sells sushi—several actually, located in America, Canada and Europe. (Find your nearest location here!) And, no the model hasn't made any clothing, shoes or anything fashion-related at all for the chain. Rather she created a box, covered in a multi-colored sequin print, sized to hold 40 pieces of raw fish and veggie rolls. Why, you ask? According to the restaurant, it's because "the model is a sushi fan."

"We are opening our first London location next month," a Sushi Shop spokesperson told WWD in an interview. "So it felt natural to collaborate with her."

Apparently though, Moss isn't the brand's first high profile collaboration. Kenzo Takada (the eponymous founder of the label Opening Ceremony's Humberto Leon and Carol Lim now run) also partnered with the company in 2011, followed by Lenny Kravitz in 2012—and now Kate! It seems that the names just keep getting bigger and better. It's got to be Karl Lagerfeld or Marc Jacobs for 2014, right?

Until then, if you're just dying to—let's all try to resist the obvious off-color joke here—consume Japanese food from Kate's container, it costs $58 and hits Sushi Shop locations worldwide on May 13.
