Maybe you love your current wardrobe and don't feel like you really need anything new. (Unlike me, with my ever-growing list of stuff I want to own five minutes ago: a moto jacket, d'Orsay flats, printed pants that don't make me look crazy.) Even so, we'd still suggest stocking up on one (or more) of the pieces below for spring. From belts to baseball caps, these little extras will make your closet feel more current, on-trend and just generally better. It's the stuff you didn't know you needed—but you totally do.

Tiptoe into spring's baseball cap trend by picking one in a fun, girly print like this. It's the perfect way to jolt a little bit of energy into your standby jeans and t-shirt.

Stacking rings are everywhere right now, and this mixed metal set nails the been-collecting-these-for-years look without any effort.

Wear it low on your hips with white jeans, or higher on your waist to cinch a simple sundress. Either way, you need this.
