Bright Idea
Choosing a desk lamp on eBay is one of those shopping experiences that give me an identity crisis —there are literally hundreds to choose from, many of them are truly good, and most represent an entirely different style of living. Am I a Frank Lloyd Wright type? Do I want something classic and frilly? Am I the kind of person who pays a lot of money for something iconic and French? When all is said and done, I like things that are simple, inexpensive, and a little playful, so I'll probably bid on this vintage Hamilton style. It has a strong yet unassuming design and the sunny yellow color will brighten even my little, light-deprived home office.

That is so cute. I can't help but to imagine it with a 60's style banana phone in the same color.
Only .99 starting with no reserve. They jacked up the shipping, but not too much and it's still a great starting price. If I had a cute home office and didn't need to have two matching of everything, this is something I would definitely bid on. (Are you sure you want the competition)?
the switch on my lamp just broke, but the idea of getting a lamp from ebay never occurred to me. i'll have to see what i can find.
