Color me bad
There's something about this short-sleeved color-block sweater that I actually find irresistibly sexy. It's got a cool new wave vibe, and I like the cut—formfitting but not so much that you'd feel self-conscious. It also seems like a perfectly versatile piece for spring: I imagine wearing it with skinny jeans and pointy-toed heels and maybe a little blazer, or really casually with shorts and huaraches and a long, thin-strapped, across-the-shoulders bag.

Okay. I can see and follow the outfit and I think the sweater could work. But the gold heart necklace? Has fashion gone this far back into Loves Baby Soft Nostalgia? (serious question)
Also, a technical request (to the computer people that make it all work).
I really love reading this blog, but in order for me to post comments, I have to leave Firefox and go into Safari everytime. Can you tech people make this work in Firefox (please please).
No. I wouldn't wear the heart necklace (with this). It's definitely too much. Maybe some thin little silver hoops?
or maybe forget the jewelry altogether and accessorize with an XL can of AquaNet and an oversized "ITALY" jacket??
The blogger has nothing to do with the heart necklace...it's probably just part of the picture taken by the ebay user.
Cheesy jewelry aside, I do love the sweater. I actually got one very similar to it in a thrift store in Jersey City (I know, right?). It's the perfect retro-but-not-ridiculous spring cotton sweater. I'd wear it with a red pleated skirt. Second the skinny jeans.
I actually like the necklace better than the sweater. But yeah they do not work together.
